Top rank the one that made Ali a house hold name, and other legends that followed.. Even Arum made Floyd from the get go. Even if Floyd denies it. Arum helped him be the star that he is today.

Arum has done a lot in boxing including how he promoted pac to the world has been great.
I suppose it's in how we define "greedy". I see no reason for anyone to retire because he's old.The "retirement age" concept came about, if I recall correctly, because of Otto Von Bismark the great Prussian chancellor of the latter part of the 19th cent. it was his idea, for all workmen to be able to retire with a pension at age 65. Until then, people worked as long as they were able.

There have been some pretty old Supreme court Justices, I think Oliver Wendell Holmes worked until about 90, and there are many examples. My own dear father was at the office every day almost, until just before he passed, aged 86. He enjoyed it.

Arum is very sharp minded and both physically and mentally active. 80 years old isn't regarded as being exceptionally old by today's standards. But....he himself says that he doesn't do nearly as much of the day-to-day interchanges as he used to, that his step-son De Boeuf is doing more and more. He doesn't have to do what he's doing, Top Rank is so well established that if he didn't, another Top Rank exec would, and the same money would be made or lost. He just likes what he does and is still better at it than anybody. I have a lot of respect for his talents.

I think he's said that he never saw a boxing ring until Ali, and decided he was in it for life.

If you put everybody who disputes your "truths" you'd have nobody to read your silly posts.
You shouldn't refer to me as a "******" because, in doing so, you are depicting yourself and about 90% of the posters as unable to even to understand what the A,B,C, ....... represents. I hope you notice I don't lower myself to call you denigratory names.

If that's too difficult for you all at once, just take it slowly....

Please explain how Mayweather alone could take home $55 mill.....Don;t forget to deduct all local and national taxes including IRS, the promoter's fee (had to be a t least $15-20 mill) etc.etc.etc.

I can't even explain a factually truthful tale of a "$32 mill guarantee"

I know you can do it-use your imagination. I can't.
Your business acumen amazes me my friend. The way you explain is just spot on.

Who's the top dog in all sports...

To end, I say the Pacman is doing a hell of a lot better than the top athletes of the world.

Guess we now know who commands the Benjamin in all sports.

                  It's the Pacman.

50/50 split seems so generous of pac to offer someone.

                  Complete list:

like i always say i won't even give that boring guy 40 split if i were pacman. i'll let him rot if he's playing like a pu55y. i'm not the one getting blamed and being called a chicken left and right.

lol how these flownos are enraged over the fact that it's Pac and not their man crush who is in at number 1 of all. These Flowmos can't be happy for other fellow boxers.. It just shows envy has taken over them hehehehe!
