Yeah; fair point...he did get up. But I think his rapid loss of stamina in that final round means an A maybe a tad generous. I think Bute has probably learned from it though and tonight will be an awesome fight - on my way to Nottingham right now :-)
Rooting for Froch but worried he will get outboxed.

On Bute's intangibles, I take into account that he beat the ten in Andrade (often overlooked because Wright was so poor), the way he responded in the rematch, and his overall growth since.

Bute wasn't 100% for that fight. If i remember well, he went in altitude to Columbia or something to train and suffered a terrible food poisonning there 2-3 weeks before the fight, Lucian went totally dehydrated and found himself like 10 pounds under where he was supposed to have been then. Also his heart beat and recuperative powers were so offset that his coach wanted to postpone the fight, but Lucian was confident he could beat Librado anyway if he kept things simple. We all know what happenned, that mistake nearly cost him his perfect records and could have been much worst if he had really been hit good by Andrade.

Frochy Has fought a lot of competitive fights but He's never looked good against A or B competition save for the Abraham fight....in which Abraham was really out of his depth at that weight. I'm not sure why Froch get so much acclaim for moral victories When he looks flat out HORRIBLE at times. Andre Direll really beat him. Kessler Beat him & ward beat him...Who has Froch ever really beaten of note or worth??? If Bute is gonna get knocked for fighting less than excellent comp at least He displays A Grade talent & skill. I bet money that he hurts frochy & puts him down from a body shot. I mean as far as I'm concerned Froch is no diff from the other guys bute has faced. He's a little better...but not by much.

I'm surprised you have Bute and Froch even in terms of defense. I don't think Froch is quite as easy to hit as people say but I think Bute has the advantage in that category. Jmo of course.

I have written off Froch before and I was wrong, but I just can't picture him getting the better of Bute.

I'd take bets of worthless BS points.
I agree. I think bute wins this by one sided decision or ko. Not sure what froch will do in response to the body work and upper cuts of lucian, who i belive is qite a bit faster than froch.
