... And he's going to KTFO Dereck Chisora in July.
I can't believe some of the garbage I've read on here about Haye. First things first - I'm NOT a fan of his, but i recognise an athlete when I see one. Haye is an athlete, not a hype job or some villain in a cape like some of you seem to describe. He drummed up a lot of promotion for that Klitschko fight, he stepped over the line perhaps, but no doubt it got the world interested and made him a ton of money. As far as that fight itself is concerned though... Haye just simply isn't a heavyweight.
But let's go back to Chisora. Haye is taller than him and has longer reach than him... For once Haye is fighting someone at HW that isn't ridiculously oversized, apart from around his waistline. I'd even go so far as saying Chisora has no place in professional boxing as unconditioned as he is... But then that says it all about the state of heavyweight boxing at the moment, when someone as out of shape as Dereck can fight Vitali.
And how much credit do we give Chisora for his performance against Vitali? He certainly didn't embarrass himself, but let's not forget that big brother K is
clearly on the slide. Would he have prepared rigorously for someone as slow and with as low a KO percentage as Chisora? I doubt it.
Haye will though. Haye has something to prove after the world laughed at him for getting out his toe (***** move). With all the stats on Haye's side I see nothing but an absolute beat down for Dereck Chisora. It's going to be like when Manny Pacquiao fights bigger guys, except the guys down in ww are usually in shape... Lets say it's like PAC vs Hatton with no training camp.
Haye has the speed, power (check the KO%), reach and pure athleticism to put this grossly obese joke to sleep... And anyone who disagrees I really do thank you for all the money I'm taking off you.
"He glassed me".
