Oh, I do hold them both to that standard. Pac also will not be able to have that point where he sits back to tell his grandchildren some day how he beat the great Mayweather. It's a standoff between them.

I like what Max Kellerman said. He said "never in the history of our sport has the #1 and #2pfp fighters in the world also been the #1 and #2 superstars/biggest attractions in our sport, who also happen to be in the same weight class". Now we may never have this happen again. Both fighters are going to make more than they ever have in their lives even with a 50/50 split, including Floyd! Me as a fan can care less about what the split is unlike some Floyd fans who'd rather the fight not happen at all unless Floyd gets his way. If Pac is willing to accept 20%, then cool. I dont see a dime, nor do I care. I just want to see history made in the ring! If 50/50 is what's going to get it done then the entire boxing world should be tweeting, emailing, calling, faxing, etc... Floyd telling him to make the damn fight!
I as a fan find the business side as interetsing as the other side. Yes there are fanas on both sides that want there fighter to get what they want. I advaocate running the numbers and splitting it that way. If thats what it takes so be it.

This doesn't sound like Manny at all, sounds more like someone else talking on his behalf.

And Dunn, Ego's rarely give in.....just like Mayweather and Pac fans, Mayweather and Pac won't budge. If one finally gives up some control, the fight may be made.

Pac has sold 6.7 million ppvs since may 09, that doesnt even include bradley

floyd has sold 6.2 million since december 07 and that includes cotto

Floyd offering a higher ppv seller a flat fee is a duck; plain and simple

                    this isnt news.

we already know that floyd said 40 mil take it or leave it.

if i was pac id leave it aswell.

like i said before, there is always an excuse from mayweather.

Dude niether cares about legacy at all. Their legacies are secured. 5 yrs from retirement, both go into the HOF.

This is about money. Floyd wants manny to accept flat fee so he can give him his money pre tax and pre ppv. Manny is using OST to get 50/50, which is probably 15-20% more than the numbers will break out to.

Floyd should make a real offer 60/40 35%ppv and manny should take it. Everyone gets what they want.
