Kinda sad when you see a boxer end up talking like this, there are times to get out of boxing and hopefully more young boxers would look at videos like this and know when to leave the boxing game.....Example Juan diaz..

THAT is when the fight is made, assuming Pac still agrees to testing and actually wants the fight.
As a PBF fan that is a crazy way of looking at the fight being made. Neither Manny or Arum will ever swallow their pride to go for something like you are saying. Truthfully they shouldn't have to. Being reasonable possibly gets the fight done and offering Manny no ppv money is not reasonable.

Its hard to say because most of the damage fighters bodies take is in training and sparring not the actual fight. They spar way more rounds than they ever fight and take more blows in sparring as well.

I agree they need to know when to close up shop.

But like Bob, Floyd is not reasonable when it comes to money, that is why they are as rich as they are.

At the end of the day Pac had his chance to get 50/50 but didn't want any part of it. Since then, Floyd has made it perfectly clear Pac will NEVER get an equal share and as time goes on Floyd is making it even more clear that Bob and Pac won't have any say what so ever...

Bob is bitter because FLoyd is getting the best of them and they will have ZERO options on the matter. It's simply going to be take what Floyd offers you, or walk away (again) and take nothing. That is the hard truth. If Bob was not in the picture we wouldn't even have to discuss this as Pac would just fight.

True, floyd could be more reasonable. But why should he? If the tables are turned, floyd would be asked to take what he can get, just like the ODH fight.

Floyd and his team make fights very easy when the opponent is willing to accept a fair ppv cut. There is no reason manny can't accept 30-35% of the ppv revenue to fight.

If manny wants to negotiaite hard then he shouldn't complain when floyd does same.

I agree with Norris that era kills Pac or Floyd can you imagine what a Tommy Hearns, Sugar ray Leonard, Julian Jackson when he was at 154 Roberto Duran would do to Pac or Floyd. Hell even Wilfred Bentiez and Pipino Cueavas would smoke these dudes. They were relentless they were always prepared to do 15 rounds the pressure on Floyd with these big punchers would break him down. Pac would be to small for these guys.

Damn, one of the fist fighters who made me watch boxing.

Breaks my heart to hear him talk like that. But at least he's holding up.

And I agree with him, Terrible Terry will smoke Pac and Floyd, especially the latter!

LOL at the comment on Floyd slappin' and running .

I think what Terry Norris is saying that the boxers of his era were more willing to take risks and give the boxing public the fights that they wanted to see. As opposed to today's fighters, who tend to chase only after the bigger paydays while taking on fewer risks at the dismay of boxing fans.

Norris was an amazing offensive machine. He could put amazing fast and hard hitting combo's together.

His jaw was his only weakness. Most opponents simply could not cope with the stuff he offered them.

Although Norris has a point about Pac and Floyd, this guy had to retire at 31. Pacquiao and Mayweather are going strong at 33 and 35 respectively while making a **** load of money. I agree the talent pool is shallow today and that in part is why Manny and Floyd have looked so good.
