Actually I blame Byd in this case. If Byrd refused to participate in the tournament that would establish a unified champ, then he's a *****.

Although I'm sure many here already thought he was a *****.

I think Byrd wants to fight Wlad in a rematch but I don't think Don King wants this fight to happen. Byrd feels he will get much more money in this fight than the recent fights Don King has put out for him.

king knows byrd is washed up and he doesent want him to lose his title to a non-king fighter under any circumstance. meanwhile byrd also knows hes washed up and just wants to get that one last payday since he will be going out on a loss to end his career no matter what

Don King is a cancer on combat sports in general. I really hope he doesn't get into MMA>

The King tournament will have at least 3 of the best 4 heavyweights in it. Rahman-Toney winner, Byrd, and Brewster. Yah Ruiz'll probably be in it which sucks but at least we'll get to see him lose.

I want Wladimir in it too so I can watch Brewster or Toney knock him out. But hey, there's always defenses after the tournament, so no big deal.

King is filing suit against Byrd b/c Byrd is suing King. Come on, King always puts in a counter-suit for more money. Remember when Tyson sued King for $100 million? King counter-sued for $110 million. Tyson settled out of court for a mere $14 million. Had he really wanted to hurt King, he should've let the litigation continue, which would cost King more money. Tyson was in so much debt that it wouldn't matter for him to get deeper in debt. And he'd have easily won the case once it actually started. King kept getting it pushed back.
