You know there are other fighters outside the U.S.
Naw, I didn't know that boxing was global. Either way that puts Broner in the second slot of the division, the same slot that Khan would be put at in his weight class. It was just an example anyways, I can come up with many more. When people talk about elite fighters in boxing, they aren't talking about elite at their weight class.

Alright but I highly doubt that's what TS meant when he was talking elite. If Khan struggled with Garcia but still won, he's obviously still an elite JWW. What he was talking about is being an elite fighter in the sport(p4p status).

              Not necessary.

Tepparith Singwancha is #1 in his division at worse #2...Not an elite fighter, not world wide P4P, nor in his division. Hell maybe not even in his country...Poonsawat FTW.

If they make it clear they are talking about a specific weight class it really is a none issue.

Well maybe depending on the source...Which ranking are you going by?

It wasn't a fair fight for starters.

Yeah, he is and tbh he would dominate anyone in that division. That division is absolute **** and you can tell that Broner would roll it. I couldn't give two ****s who he has fought yet, he's just began his career. It's like putting Floyd at the number 1 spot at 154, are you complaining about that? He hasn't put the "work" at 154 to be ranked there, right? Broner is the top dog in that division and will blast out Escabedo with ease. People that have to rank fighters strictly off resume remind me of stat geeks. Use the ***ing eye test for once in your life.
