Again by the very definition of the word Khan is an elite fighter in his weight class, you cant change the core definition of a word to suit your own purpose.
You're saying in his own weight class but that doesn't mean he's elite. Is the #2 cruiser an elite fighter or elite in his weight class?

How can someone who isn't fighting in a particular weight class rank higher than someone who is?

As I said Bradley has faced one top 140lb fighter in over 2 years in that time span he will have also have fought as many times at a higher weight class.

I guess the same could be said of Bradley vs Casamayor. He didn't look very impressive for as long as it lasted vs a weed head did he now?

When was the last time Khan beat a top 140lber? Maidana? He barely did that. He lost to the last top junior welter he faced. He got KTFO before. Heck, he could easily have three losses on his dossier. Besides that, being elite in your division doesn't make you an elite fighter period. Unless you want to re-define elite. Elite is something I'd give the top 20 fighters or something. Khan isn't a top 20 fighter IMO.

Bradley resume is better than Khan resume at 140.

Bradley is the man at 140 not Khan.

And, in terms of who the the better fighter is regardless of resume. Bradley is the more well rounded fighter.

There really is no argument to be made for Khan.

He would be one of the elite in HIS weight class like I said im just going by the definition of the word itself.

Being an elite p4p fighter is a different story.

                  Bradley ducked Khan.

Ok fair enough. I thought you meant he was elite overall. Elite junior welter? Sure.

People always have varying standards when it comes to a fighter being "elite" but when you are the best in your weight class (a decent weight class at that) I find it hard to argue against him being elite.

e·lite/iˈlēt/ A group of people considered to be the best in a particular society or category, esp. because of their power, talent, or wealth.

As I said Khan being arguably the best in his weight class makes him elite by the very definition of the word.
Okay, so he's an elite fighter at 140 but that doesn't mean he's elite when people say elite. Elite means more in the sense of p4p status. When you watch Khan, despite being good at 140 you don't say that's one of the best fighters in the world.

The same thing could be said about Adrien Broner. He's the best fighter in his weight class, does that mean he's elite? He's not an elite fight, despite being the best fighter at his weight.
