Yeah, it's all very well Ward saying he'd love to fight Kessler but he stopped short of saying he was willing to travel to Denmark (or even Vegas) to make it happen.

Kessler was one of the fighters Goosen Promotions had in mind for a Vegas fight (highly on Wards agenda) so I don't know where you got that from (other than thin air).

Ward just went through a gauntlet of tough fights against elite opponents. Why should Bute get to step right in there with him without proving himself against a top flight fighter too?

So has Carl Froch. Actually Froch's run of fights has been far tougher than Wards yet he didn't reject Bute's challenge on some flimsy ass reasoning like that.

Everyone (including myself) has been trashing Bute for his opposition but then he wants to fight the best guy and people have a problem with that too...lol

If Bute beats Froch, two of his 5 best wins would have been against fighters coming off losses. Bika stands as his very best win at the moment. As for right now, Bika, Johnson, Miranda and Andrade are his best wins. Pretty weak resume at 32.

Ward at 28, has Kessler, Froch, Bika, Abraham, Miranda, Green. Ward can talk all the sh-t he wants about Bute being unproven.
