Before that PPV, go up to anyone at the bar and ask who knows who Canelo Alvarez is. I bet 80% of the bar doesn't know ****.Cotto is the #3 active PPV boxer. Canelo Alvarez was the co-main event on Cinco de Mayo. Yet, Floyd gets all the credit for 1.5 million PPV buys??
No offense, but IF Floyd is the #1 draw, the addition of Cotto & Canelo should've jumped the PPV buys to at least 1.7 to 1.8 million buys.
Mayweather-Ortiz did 1.2 million buys, even though many insiders claim it did under 1 million. Adding Cotto and Canelo makes up the difference.Comment

I don't see Floyd choosing Khan. He's no cherrypick for Floyd. Khan has too much speed and he only has problems with aggressors, which Floyd is not. I also think Freddie Roach can gameplan better for Mayweather than any other trainer out there.
Canelo is more of a realistic opponent. Canelo's youth & inexperience favors Floyd heavily. Since Canelo is only 21 and inexperienced, losing to Floyd Mayweather will not badly hurt his career or marketability.Comment
