and if you pay close attention to the banners around the arena as the fight is on, you can see the signs of "HBO PPV"
Just wanted to point it out, Margs vs Cotto 1 and 2 were both PPVs
True, thanks for pointing that out. So why do I remember seeing that on regular HBO?

You wnat to talk about parroting? That is a Floyd Stan Specialty. From parroting floyd's i got paid 20 mill in one night vs the big show, to floyd's continued character assassination of pac using steroids, to how much bob arum takes off of pac's check...

      the list is endless.

Get off your false sense of fake moral high ground along with your feigning neutrality and grossly exaggerated fake boxing knowledge.

Dont act like floyd fans are above reproach. Its a two way street here.

& no, Floyd did not hit 1 mill ppvs vs hatton. Talk about living in a magical world.

Grow up dude, and if you are a grown man then it's clear you're handicapped in which case I apologize.

If manny could outsell floyd, he would have done it already. WHenever they fight the same guy, floyd outsells manny. The only time he didn't was manny's 3rd fight with JMM. Of course manny's 1st fight with JMM wasn't on ppv.

Why are we even talking about this. Manny is #2 and always will be. If he wants to be #1, go fight outside the US and sell ppv's only in the Phillipines.

I 've been saying this all the time ; Mayweather is overhyped by US media. People just watch his fights because they want to see him lose. Once he does, it's over. Also, his ppv buys are because people pay to see the other fighter. Cotto drew many fans, Canelo too. Credit should be given to them, after all it was Cinco de Mayo!!!!!

So everytime floyd fights, its the other guy people want to see. Yet when these other fighters fight on ppv against anyone else, they don't do as well.

Your argument and logic is ridiculous.

The Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Ricky Hatton pay-per-view which took place in Las Vegas on December 8 has shattered UK pay-per-view buyrate numbers. According to The Telegraph, Sky Box Office estimates as many as 1.2 million buys and the number can increase to 1.4 million. The final number will not be known until January, but Sky says the final buyrate will be well over 1 million, cracking the 2002 record of 750,000 buys, set by Lennox Lewis vs. Mike Tyson.

mayweather needs another 2 big names to boost his numbers it seems while pac has his own and one other only
pac is just as big a draw. mayweather's recent opponents have just been some of the biggest names. Mosley - well known fighter to the public, my dad has heard of him and he never follows boxing. Cotto has a massive puerto rican following, just look at all his fanboys on this site and it tells you something.

did mayweather-jmm do more than pac-jmm 3, im not sure of this one?

Did we even get word from HBO regarding pac-jmm 3? And I'd say Victor Ortiz is not a big draw--or wasn't when Floyd fought him.
