SCREW REMATCH! Erik Morales vs Juan Manuel Marquez, Texas Stadium Is The ONLY Fight!
Although Maidana would be a brawl, but a fight that neither fighter needs now. Maidana on the heels to his loss to Alexander, does not need this fight, as he's already beaten Morales. A loss to Morales (which wouldn't happen), would drive Maidana's career further south. Morales on the other hand, as much as he'd like to redeem his loss to Maidana, that kind of war with a younger, stronger brawler at this point in Morales' career, should be ill-advised. ON THE OTHER HAND... Erik Morales NEEDS to fight Juan Manuel Marquez in July/August, PERIOD. IN their prime, Morales, Marquez, Pacquaio, and Barrera ruled their division together. Morales and Marquez fought Pacquiao and Barrera multiple times, but Morales and Marquez never fought each other. Some personal grudge between them, is ROBBING Boxing and it's fans of a historic, epic battle between these two, at the same crossroads of their careers. Both are future Hall of Famers. Marquez needs to put a 4th fight with Pacquiao out of his mind, and put your grudge with Morales behind you, and MAKE THIS FIGHT HAPPEN! Morales would sign to fight Marquez in a heartbeat. Marquez acts like he's afraid to fight him. For as adamant as Marquez is about why he needs a 4th fight with Manny, the same can be said for why he won't fight Morales after all these years. Marquez has complained Pacquiao won't give him another shot (how many shots do you need? 5 or 6 until you get the result you want?) Morales can't get a fight with you, Marquez!!!! For more than 10 years Marquez has ducked Morales. You want Manny Pacquiao a 4th time??? I say the WINNER of Marquez/Morales gets another shot at Pacquaio!!!!
