The only thing that bothers me about this fight is, the WBC are making Lara-Vanes fight for the right to challenge Canelos, but they have say $h1t about a guy (Williams) that should and is rank below those two, how do guys/gals feel about this?

I got Paul Williams on this one. Paul Williams is gonna use that reach. I dont see Canelo getting inside on him at all.

THIS!!!! I have been saying that for like his last 4 fights. Maybe his hands can't take wearing smaller gloves? That is the only reason I can think of. If he wears the Reyes he Ko's Hattons brother. Good post.

GREAT GREAT GREAT fight. Did I say this is a great fight? Cant wait for this one. Anyone who thinks Williams is shot is an idiot. He lost to 2 of the top 10 p4p fighters in the world in Martinez and Lara. He also beat Martinez, and is the only one to beat this version of Martinez.

Canelo will have his hands full here. That fighting in spurts crap isnt going to work against Williams' activity. This isnt Shane Mosley.

He didn't lose to Lara at least not officially. He lost to Quintana!

Finally Canelo will be forced to fight in a high pace or even to go to war... Williams is far from shot and is going to give him a lot of trouble with his speed,activity and 'big fight experience'. If he can trouble Martinez, he surely can make it a long night for Alvarez.

After some consideration, I don't think Canelo will need the robbery.
Williams fights the same way he could get whacked real good.
Why?

Williams does not fight tall. Highly suspect of good powerful left punches. Canelo got a good/hard left hook. William could get bloodied again.
