I have no qualms with this fight as long as Morales comes in 100%. Have him get in as best shape as he can and make the weight limit, assuming that he's healed up fully from the surgery.

Morales should retire after this fight.

JMM never let any promoter, or fans for that matter, pick fights for him. He picks his own fights. If you do, you'll gonna have to let him dictate the terms. He'll demand unreasonable amounts of money. He will never budge. He'd rather travel in far-away lands as far as Indonesia and accept a humiliating sum of money.

If his fights start showing little profit in the box office, he will beg for a Pac fight and wear protest T-shirts till he gets what he wants.

Solution for JMM if you're a promoter: Let him come to you and ask for the fight. Meanwhile, just let him rot and not pay attention to his temper tantrums.

I was originally against Marquez-Morales but I actually would rather see that than Marquez completely destroy Mercito Gesta... I mean, Morales is old and all, but so is Marquez. Obviously Marquez still has a lot more left in the tank when compared to Morales, but I still think the fight would be semi-competitive AKA: More competitive than Marquez/Gesta...

Of course there's always Rios ready to pounce, and Arum is high on Rios vs Marquez so we'll see.

Of course, Morales is 35 now - but I was talking about that fighters spirit Eric showed that night. If Morales scored the Marquez fight, I see him producing one last great fight for the fans.....

He's been shot for years.

He's just that great he can still give good fighters a decent fight despite being shot.

We all know Morales still has some gas in the tank. I mean, we all said he was done and would get put away by Maidana - but what happened- Morales outboxed Maidana with one eye. Granted, Maidana won on points by the sheer volume of punches - but Morales gave Maidana a boxing lesson and was the peoples champ that night.
