I dont understand the logic of fighting at Cowboys Stadium. Who can he even fight to draw a big enough crowd to even come close to filling the stadium? Overall attendance will probably be closer to 18k which MGM or Staples Center would have done fine

that's a lame excuse from marquez. why would he need Gesta to help prepare for Pacquiao? he's already fought him three times he knows pacs style better than anyone. gesta isn't going to help anything

Well lol of the available opponents I would say Morales smh... People don't want to pay ppv prices to watch JMM beat Gesta and make him cry. Marquez seems pretty adamant about not wanting to fight Rios too so bob should forget about that so only one left is Morales who I think might be competative but will still get beat.

Marquez seems to think that by fighting any left handed fighter this summer that he will force Top Ranks hand in making the Pac fight next fall...yeah right lol.

I don't mind the Morales fight but it is funny how we crucify Pac & Mayweather (unfairly) for their choice of opponents yet Marquez gets a free pass, legend or not.

Anyone who has crucified Mayweather for what have been solid non-Pac choices since the comeback, or Pac for Bradley, is a moron. Marquez is 38 and has fought plenty of tough. If he wants to be picky, it will add up to nada at retirement and people will get over it.

see. This way you save Rios and gesta while still getting money. Nice ppv conundrum, people will totally buy Marquez fighting an old Morales coming off a loss

well marquez has turned down Rios, Judah & Morales any of those fights are decent for a PPV if they have a good undercard. Gesta vs JMM is just silly for a PPV.

This is bull****. Marquez is way more known than Rios, and Gesta is just about the same as Abril and Rios-Abril was on PPV. I can name countless other ****** PPV's Arum has done with unknowns in the card. Arum lying his ass off cause he's actually looking out for his own pocket.

Duh. He can make a non-profitable show or a potentially highly profitable one. He makes soft PPVs when he has to keep guys busy. This is a rare chance to do something bigger.

I really fail to see where anyone can have something negative to say on Arum here if they go with Morales.
