it would seem to me, also, that the confidence to cheat is coming from the assumption that if they do get caught, usada or whatever organization is conducting the tests, they're not likely to get exposed because the promoters would just do something about it, or "fix" it.

the event is too big and it involves thousands of dollars and canceling it doesn't make sense.
