  • wtf... the shooter was shot... twice in a span of weeks...

and i don't buy that floyd saves-the-day-clean-the-sport bull*****... he just brought this out after having 40 professional fights... if its true that he want to clean the sport just now, can we also conclude that all of those 40 wins are won on UNeven playing field?... he does have great skills no doubt, but did he won all of those on even playing field?... i highly doubt it...

    not hatin'... just sayin'...

Berto looks like a steroid user too.
definitely looks like on steriod or somekind of enhancing drugs...and tim bradley himself looks even more like he is on something...look how ripped he looks, its crazy

        What's your point?
You asked how long its been since Mayweather fought a prime champion in HIS weight class. Kind of ironic when you look at Pac's latest and greatest opposition. See the irony of the question? lol

        • When i saw berto in his comeback fight against zaveck or whatever his name was it was clearly visible that berto was on PEDs. Berto is nothing but a hype job and this scandal will hopefully be the last chapter in his boring career.

He's never been anything but a bum.

He's in the Haymon tradition of hypejobs that get paid big $$ from fighting bums. Mayweather, Broner, Dirrell, and the rest of em'.

This is the group that sunk Hbo in the 2000's and basically killed boxing.

In this case, Floyd is the one who seemed real eager to point fingers, like he had a heavy conscience.

It makes sense too. If he was so concerned about fairness, why would he cheat Marquez on the scales and brush it off by throwing money at it?

He's a liar, and a hoax. His whole career is built on lies and fighting "names" who were either too small, too old, or bums to begin with (Hatton).

                I smell a rat.

Let's take a look at the history here for a second:

Back in the 1st negotiations, floyd demands random blood+urine testing - pac says ok to urine, and to blood as well provided the NSAC has overall control of the process [this does not mean USADA wouldn't be involved] . Floyd immediately balks at this, and turns down the fight.

Comments: Pac asking for NSAC to have control turned out to be excellent foresight, as it would have set a process in place to handle a positive test, and thus avoiding what happened to GBP twice now. Furthermore, urine testing has proven its merits. Why would floyd balk? Probably because he doesnt want NSAC to be aware of his under-the-table dealings with USADA, which likely involve payment to cover up a positive test.

Later in the summer, Team Pac try once again to make the fight, but Floyd says there were no negotiations. Floyd gets exposed a few days later by Ross Greenburg.

Comments: Floyd gets horrendously exposed as once again ducking Pacquiao. At this point time, Floyd was probably well into one of his steroid cycles, and was worried that fighting Pac any time soon would trigger a positive test and wasn't willing to risk it. [Nor was he, or will he ever risk getting into the ring with Pacquiao]

Floyd goes on 1 year hiatus, with absolutely no testing, probably injecting himself with the most hi-tech steroids available and continuing his expertly crafted cycle of PED abuse.

                Comments: None

Late 2011: Floyd calls out Pacquiao, only to retract his statements a few days later and say he was "just telling the fans what they wanted to hear." He later sets a May 5 date without consulting with Pacquiao which is a very noticeable duck. After seeing what Pacquiao does to JMM's face in the 3rd fight, Floyd voluntarily speeds up his trial and willingly turns himself in to have another excuse to not fight pacquiao, and also to avoid random testing.
Floyd negotiates a quick deal with Pacquiao's leftovers, Miguel Cotto, and also receives an extra 6 months to fight before serving time. After Pacquiao makes it clear he has agreed to Floyd's testing demands, Floyd's next excuse is to offer Pacquiao a 40 million flat fee- even though Pacquiao had more ppv sales in the period May 09- May 12 than Floyd had in Dec 07- May 12!!

Comments: Floyd is clearly afraid of Pacquiao and will do anything not to fight him. Floyd is also on steroids.

Concluding remarks: This is like a mystery story with a predictable end. Where there is one guy purposely trying to lead the detectives down one path and appear innocent and proactive, but all along it's only too obvious that he is guilty. Floyd's testing demands serve as both a means to make him look like a clean athlete, and at one point, was also his roadblock of choice until he had nowhere to turn.
agree flyod is that of low class character type that gets away with it all, though karma is starting to catching up to him, starting June 1st. Sued by Manny next and who knows what's after that...

                • Berto, Peterson Is Who Floyd Should Have Been Rippin'; Not Pacquiao!

These fighters need to be responsible for everything they put in their body. Don't blame a trainer or a conditioning coach. If you open your mouth, you better know what's in the supplement or drink. If there's a banned list; you need to cross reference everything you eat or drink, from protein shakes, to vitamins, to cough syrup. Nobody is forcing anything down your throat. Be accountable, be in charge. For the millions you're about to make, be responsible. Every single solitary athlete that's EVER tested positive for PED's, has always acted surprised and blamed something or someone else. Berto and Peterson are no different. Blame others. If you're too dumb to go down that road when you know there will be drug testing, then you're too dumb to earn millions.
