"Naive" it is then you little smart a$$. But if this sport has corruption from the biggest company involved in the sport then why do you or anybody else for that matter bother taking their valuable time and money to watch it?? Like you told ONEBOX he has his opinion to believe the fight wasn't fixed, you believe it was fixed and yes Manny is the boxer I admire most but he isn't the only boxer i'm a fan of. Back to the issue, at the end of the clottey fight he said Pacquiao was the only man to give him a real defeat. Was he paid to say that? You believe what you want based on what you "saw" but I have my right to say that I think you're WRONG! If Clottey laid down on that fight it was because he wanted to lay down. Pacquiao has sparring partners who are better than Clottey that man got enough money from that fight to retire so why would he want to go out and keep fighting? I support ONEBOX's view that if he were paid off it would have been in more spectacular fashion acceptable to paying fans. It makes absolutely no sense why he would stand for 12 rounds and do nothing when they could've orchestrated something more performance based like Clottey getting KD'd once or twice or getting KO'd or a planned injury or something. Clottey sucks plain and simple and it's the only true statement why he fought the way he did.First off, the word is spelled "NAIVE" smart guy. As far as hearing rumors, I heard none. This was my own observation I came up with from watching the fight, or lack there of. Naive is putting anything past a corrupt @$$ promoter like Bob Arum. That guy has been paying off judges and orchestrating fight results for decades. You act as if shady $h!t doesn't happen in boxing all the time. I know Manny is your favorite boxer in the whole wide world but open your eyes bro. Don't be (in your words) so "NAIEVE"!Comment

Don't really like jumping in but all fixed fights don't have to end early. And when looking back on the fight who got talked about in a bad light? Clottey thats who. Majority of the people were praising Manny cause he threw like 1200 punches and was seen as trying to make the fight which in turn did make him look good. Everybody blamed Clottey for making it a bad fight. Also fixes are done sometimes based on betting odds so a fighter can be paid to go down in a certain round because that will pay out the most money.Originally posted by ONEBOXclearly u dont understand what im saying or u choose not too. i hear what your saying and my response is if that was a fixed fight why would they make clottey last all 12rds with no damage and very lil action? maybe we have different view of what a fixed fight should look like? to me personally a fixed fight is to make the champion look good and to make him run thru his opponent fast. now clottey last all 12rds with pac, no KD, no KO, very lil damage was done to clottey.
now how was this a fixed fight when pac didnt gain anything from it? after watching pac vs clottey did u sit there and say damm that guy pacman is an animal, im gonna be watching all his fights from now on? or did u say damm what a boring fight? LOL! u havent answer my question, u just keep repeating urself saying clottey is no bum. was clottey suppose to beat pac?? let me remind u again, he just lost to cotto before he got in there with pac.
Now I am not saying that fight was fixed just pointing out that a fight doesn't have to end early for it to be fixed.Comment

Bradley might want to lay off the weights. I am all for "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and Bradley is undefeated but damn. Bradley might be one of the most cut-up boxers I have ever seen. Dude loses very little definition even after the weigh-in when water and food is put back into the body.Comment

Still too ****** to get what was said to you I see. Well then continue down your oblivious path.get Marquez's wee wee out your mouth before you comment. him nor his fans can't grow up and accept defeat 3 fuccing times! :*******:
on another note Bradley will get stopped in this fight, he doesn't realize how quick the Pacqman actually is! look for Diaz to throw in the towel around the 7th

The thing about those fighters mention above,is that they stand in front of you..After they throw their punches they are there to be hit..Which is a big reason Clottey was effective against them..But Pac throws so many punches and then moves to the side..It makes Clottey's fighting style useless..Clottey is no bum,but he is predictable and made to order for a fighter like Pac or any other above average fighter...Which is a big reason he has lost to all the fighters you mention above(except Judah)..Lets see...Margarito, Judah, Cotto. You obviously haven't seen any of his fights. Clottey is no bum.
There are different ways to throw a fight. You can do the "ol' Likar Ramos pretend you're knocked out road" or you can just offer little resistance and cover up for 12 rounds like Clottey did. Arum probably gave him the fight under the condition that he made no effort to win. Arum wouldn't throw his cash cow in the ring w/ a beast like Clottey unless he knew what he was doing. It was obvious as day and night. Like I said you don't have to agree with my observation. Leave it at that but don't act like Clottey came to fight that night cuz he most definitely didn't.Comment

It depends on what he is sparring for,I've heard he keeps changing sparring partners because he does not want to become to familiar with any one style or movement or action...Which I think is smart, there are many different sides to Manny that you must be ready for,I think he is just leaving every stone unturned...Comment

All the sparring in the world won't help Bradley prepare for the first time Manny connects with a solid left on the chin, he will experience something he never felt before and then he will revert back to throwing those looping shots and once he does that he's getting Ko'ed!Comment

numerous sparring partners is fine (although I've heard different than wantiing different looks)It depends on what he is sparring for,I've heard he keeps changing sparring partners because he does not want to become to familiar with any one style or movement or action...Which I think is smart, there are many different sides to Manny that you must be ready for,I think he is just leaving every stone unturned...
# of rounds isn't
his last sparring should be next week say about 15-20 more rounds
add this week say 30 rounds
that's another 50 rounds in addition to the 115 he says he sparred?
that's way too many it's like a starting pitcher throwing heavy 3 times between starts eventually you will get flatComment
