This is a good fight for both fighters. Tim did well against Abregu at 147. Pac has the experience at the higher weight.

How Pac handles the distracting "Death To Gays" debacle will be interesting.

I'm sure post-fight they'll ask him if the boycott by the gay community in Nevada hurt his performance somewhat.

I'm expecting him to respond: "I don't hate gay guys. I have gays give me massage sometimes. Is nothing personal. Just doing my job."

LOL!!! if the fight was fixed u would think they would make pac look good by KOing clottey? why would a fixed fight go all 12rds and pac did very lil damage to the guy who was supposely paid off to lose? its not that i dont believe u its just that ur way of thinking is of a 5yr old.
Lets see...Margarito, Judah, Cotto. You obviously haven't seen any of his fights. Clottey is no bum.

There are different ways to throw a fight. You can do the "ol' Likar Ramos pretend you're knocked out road" or you can just offer little resistance and cover up for 12 rounds like Clottey did. Arum probably gave him the fight under the condition that he made no effort to win. Arum wouldn't throw his cash cow in the ring w/ a beast like Clottey unless he knew what he was doing. It was obvious as day and night. Like I said you don't have to agree with my observation. Leave it at that but don't act like Clottey came to fight that night cuz he most definitely didn't.

Took the words right off my keyboard. After the Cotto fight they interviewed Clottey and asked him what he thought about Pacquiao. He said he was really anxious and wanted to fight him. So they get in there and Clottey covers for most of the fight. Take note that this is usually most often his style of fighting, a cover, punch then cover again way of fighting. Combine that with the fact that pac was coming at him like a spider monkey jacked up on mountain dew and wala you've got the results. Insinuating a fight is fixed is very debilitating to the sport even if you have a boxer or a promoter it tarnishes the reputation of the sport they participate in. I mean think about it why would someone pay big money to watch a sport where the outcome was predetermined when when you can watch MMA for half that and get legit results, the sport would kill itself. Clottey is the only man responsible for the way he fought that night. The win was for him to take or not take. Nobody else was in there to fight for him and he chose by his own accord how he would fight that night based on how his training camp/preparations went. Very possible that he realized he had no chance and went into protection and survival mode right off the bat. But people want to be naieve they will be naieve and support any bogus rumor they hear about someone or something they don't like. as is the case with the dude you replied to.

First off, the word is spelled "NAIVE" smart guy. As far as hearing rumors, I heard none. This was my own observation I came up with from watching the fight, or lack there of. Naive is putting anything past a corrupt @$$ promoter like Bob Arum. That guy has been paying off judges and orchestrating fight results for decades. You act as if shady $h!t doesn't happen in boxing all the time. I know Manny is your favorite boxer in the whole wide world but open your eyes bro. Don't be (in your words) so "NAIEVE"!

LOL!!!
The point of the fight was to keep it "in house" and to make PPV money off the Pacquiao name like it did. The point of a fix is to not beat the other fighter. Plain and simple. That's what Clottey did. He gave Pacquiao a Top Rank fighter to fight and a PPV to generate money. Drop it already dude. We are going in circles and there is no point. I say Clottey purposely lost the Pac fight and you don't.

Clottey was whooping Marg til he broke his hand, whooped Judah, and many feel he got robbed against Cotto. Like I said, Clottey is no bum. He just played one the night of the Pac fight.

Nope! Read back. I said Bradley can get the upset if Arum doesn't have some sneaky $h!t up his sleeves. Desert Storm is a beast.

I give up man! You're not understanding what I'm saying. Like I already said..we'll just leave it at that. Off to bed now here in Korea.

Good luck with that faith you have in boxing and all it's saints like Bob Arum. Let me know how that works out for ya guy!
