The key sentence out of the entire article was: "Although not a BINDING AGREEMENT, and subject the terms and conditions being worked out, it shows Julio's desire to face Martinez"
actions speak louder than anything this *****boy paperchamp non mexican warrior/ his team says. 2 years chavez jr been running from little old sergio......chavez jr will turn bit@h again and run
I think another point of interest is the line, "Ariza has been training him for the last few days" now that could just mean that Ariza is just doing his standard strength and conditioning coaching, but given his take-over attitude (consider the row he got with the corner doctor) and his arrogant ego (If Manny would do what -I- said, he wouldn't have cramps and be a powerhouse) it might be an indication that Ariza is trying his hand at coaching as well.
Every time Martinez talks about getting a "shot" at Chavez, he is getting a fraction of what he would make if he just avoided Chavez and let him come to him to bring the fight. Top Rank and the WBC are the SCAB of boxing. I still can't get over them saying Martinez is the "challenger"
What was with all the references to the "Mexican team?" Couldn't they just name names or say the people not with Ariza and Roach. Seemed a little nationalistic and racial to me. I could just be trippin though wouldn't be the first time.
Does anyone know if Ariza has a cutman background or a lot of experience as a cutman? I can't understand why a exercise coach is in the corner during the fight and especially as a cutman.
