Arum stated that Mayweather would have fought Margarito for the 8 million, but he wanted a guaranteed 10 million to fight Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton. Arum only guaranteed him 7 million. And for those who don’t know Cotto and Hatton were at the Mayweather-Gatti fight and Cotto was ranked number 5 by the ring at the time (Proof: Listen to the commentary Jim Lampley at the end of round 5) . Cotto had just moved up to the 140 pound weight class and he didn’t make an offer to fight Mayweather after the Gatti fight.
Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn’t interested in participating in. “That’s not in the cards,” Arum said. “He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It’s not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em. We’ll talk about things down the road.” Notice this part Arum was talking.

This is a pretty good list of perceived ducks though some shouldn't even be on here.
Ya Like I said, none of this is my opinions, it's just the 'perceived' ducks amongst casual fans that I felt was interesting.
Like it nor not, every single thing on this list.. was considered or is considered a 'duck' by a signficant portion. Obviously people who think that about Leonard is probably wrong as I was wrong after doing further research. But the opinions are def out there.
I hold firm to the believe that Tyson did duck Old fat comeback Foreman though...

They were never at the same weight.
Leonard offered him a career high pay-day of 250 grand for a fight, which was turned down. Aaron declined it.
Leonard fought Duran before and after the window of opportunity for the fight with Pryor. Duran is a much better fighter than Pryor who employed similar tactics. He also fought Benitez and Hearns within a few years. Also much better than Pryor. Why the hell would he duck Pryor, and then fight (or continue to fight) them?
Ya- I obviously should never had put Floyd as a list of options so Lewis-Bowe get like 95% of the votes. That was a mistake on my part ..**
Forgot for a moment this site don't really focus on heavyweight stuff compare to the lighter weights...
As to the Pryor Leonard thing i 100% aGREE WITH YOU.
But sadly, a lot of people do not.
Just reading 'comments' from the Sugar Ray Leonard articles when he was talking **** about Floyd ducking Pacquaio show that a good amount of people really do feel Leonard ducked Pryor and he waited till hagler got old.
This misconception is obviously fueled in part by HBO and the mythes they create. But Leonard definitely belong on any list of 'perceived ducks'
I mean other then Lewis Bowe.. You can make excuses for every body on this list...

And challenging someone verbally in a press conference means more than, you know, actually offering a contract for a career high payday.
