Actually they "stripped" Ward and are now allowing him to fight Dawson for the now "vacant" title that they stripped him off

      holy sh#t!

      he's huge!

he looks like a small heavyweight

in the 40's and 50's, with a same day weigh in and a 10 fight + schedule each year jr would fight at HW

Yeah right, I'll believe it when I see it. He is telling his dad in the one pic with him leaning on the rope "Padre, I can't do it..is it OK if I come in at 175 instead of 160?"

Diuretics and no drug testing......HERE WE COME!!! (Got to love Texas I guess)
I was thinking the same thing. He's too tall to have that size and fight at middleweight. He's probably going to use some type of diuretic to make weight and then move up without ever having fought the top middleweights, and then avoid the tough super middle.

I don't think he's very good but it sucks that Arum is milking him to the point where we will never find out where he truly stands.

How in the hell does he make 160? He looks to be at least 180 right here, maybe more.

Is this a one fight thing since Roach can't train him because of the Pacquiao fight so close to his or will Jr. now be trained by a Mexican trainer?

i'd guess he's at or around 200 lbs

                  he's 180 on fight night
think about how much bigger he is now

                    not quite, http://www.badlefthook.com/2012/5/16...bc-boxing-news

the WBC is saying they want to wait and see what's up with Dirrell's injury before. the Chavez fight is months before Ward vs Dawson and believe me if Chavez moves up to 168 the WBC strap is his. the WBC will say whatever but they actually do is another.

a lot of fighters need to drop a lot of weight not just him...juanma at the 30 day weigh in was 143,almost 20 above the 126 limit, and this was at the 30 days,so that means he probably weighs like 155 when not training...bradley himself said he walks around 165 when he fought at 140..cotto had to come down a lot too when he fought at 140 and outweighing his opponents by 15 pounds come fight night..it's not only jr who goes through this, besides i'm sure he'll be going up in weight soon and facing guys just as big as him and taller
