I agree. He is definitely an exciting fighter, but he does lack some skills that are necessary in taking him to an elite level. But I still really like watching him fight.

I think he can still win a title someday, but I just don’t think he is destined for greatness. We will see.

He lost to Ishida on a fluke TKO. I acknowledge that it happened, but how long are we going to harp on it?

The guy fights all the best available fighters and doesn't duck and dodge anyone.

How is he not acknowledged as the top guy at 154 on here?

Did u see his last fight??? any body who involved in that nonsense will be hated..

I feel your pain, but place the blame properly.

Kirk came to fight. Molina held a guy who tore his shoulder in two places, 122 times.

Not even close to being Kirks fault; not for the holding, Kirk would've KO'd the guy.

Kirk's fights don't even go the distance. If it weren't for the **** call by the ref, that fight was heading to decision.

He is exciting to watch and he comes to fight and punches hard with both hands. What I don't like is he is a poor sport. He complained alot about the bad stoppage and then turned down a rematch. I don't think he is the best at 154 because he is slow and sloppy and easy to hit and does not have a good chin. If he beats Canelo I take it all back but I think he gets KOed.

Very true. Kirkland lacks head movement. He's a rockem sockem fighter who brings it.

Still no reason for guys on here not to acknowledge the fact that he's fighting top opposition while the champ is fighting #10 ranked WW's.

              I respect that.

It's just kind of hard to take you up on your statement when Canelo is so protected.

Regarding the Ishida stoppage, the version of Kirk that fought Ishida, doesn't beat the 10 count against Angulo. Two different guys in there that night.

The Kirkland hate on here is like me dwelling on Khan's KO loss to Prescott.

It happened, Khan lost and since Khan has shown that his chin is sturdy. No one's calling Khan a bum because of his one (not counting Roided Peterson) loss.

The blinded hate on NSB is beyond dense.

                    Who's calling Kirkland Mayweather??

All I'm saying is the dude comes to fight.

He's not ducking the top guys in the division.

Lara, Williams, Kirkland, Molina, Angulo, ect are all fighting each other.

Why aren't the champs of the division in the mix.

Say what you want about Kirk's skillset, but he comes to fight and brings it.

                    Can't knock that.

That's like me saying Khan lost to Prescott and Peterson.

One loss was an early KO; the other deserves an asteric.

Do you ever take anything from Khan as a fighter?

Of course not, so stop hating lol
