Why so much Kirkland hate on here?

I believe I clearly mentioned Kirkland.....honestly, it sounds you are kind of hating on Canelo (irony...hint, hint)
I'd bet your account that Canelo would dominate if not stop Kirkland, that's how confident I am that Canelo is of a different caliber than James is. My gripe is not with him, sure he is a brave, tough, exciting fighter when he is in a brawl, that's great and I appreciate what he offers me as a fan.
What I dislike is the fact that the other guy across from him may outwork him, land more punches, stagger him but if they don't knock him out, they will likely lose. Is that fair, is that what the SPORT of boxing is about? I thought there was more to winning a fight than being the more marketable fighter.
Kirkland is an exciting guy so HBO wants the public to think he is the next coming of Tyson. I guarantee you that in any fight that goes to the cards, he will win unless it's against a bigger name.
Like I said, it's not Kirkland's fault but he will be involved in more questionable decisions that a lot of people will call robberies.
Name 1 time, Harold Letterman or any other announcer gave you the feeling like the judges were going to rob Kirkland's opponent?
Where is all this speculation coming from?
Kirkland's fights don't even go to the scorecards lol What are you even talking about?Comment

Only joke is you with mythical image of the Mandingo Warrior. Show me 1 thing that I have said that is a lie. I clearly stated these men have won fights before facing Alvarez. That is true. What happened in Kirkland vs. Ishida? He got dropped 3 times and stopped in 1 round. What happened in Kirkland vs. Molina? He lost every round besides the last one due to a weird knockdown. Molina got back up and was clearly ready to go and continue winning every round after it. Even Kirkland's trainer Anne Wolfe said he was losing every round. LOL @ the only moron in here which is you.
Within the boxing community buddy, not overall-in-the-entire-world general kind of sense. This is a place to talk Boxing isn't it? I'm sure every one who uses this site every other day and knows the sport has heard of Kirkland and most likely seen 1 or 2 of his fights.
Again, Ignored my part about lack of defense and just decided to pinpoint one part of my response. This user is an idiot. LOL @ calling himself a Boxing Genius. He was obviously out of shape.
Anyone with a brain would look at Kirkland and see that he survived punches from Vera, Julio and Angulo. So being stopped by Ishida obvously means something was wrong.
I thought this would be common sense to most. I guess I was wrong.Last edited by EdMon917; 05-16-2012, 08:45 PM.Comment

Since no one else can answer, here, take a shot.
If this Ishida theory is so true, then:
1. Why didn't the Vera that TKO'd Andy Lee, knock Kirk out in the 1st round?
2. Angulo hits 10x harder than Ishida; Kirkland shouldn't have even gotten up after the 1st knockdown. Even if he did get up after the first knockdown, he should've been blown to oblivion with Angulo's very next punch. Unless you're saying Angulo was gassed within the first 20 seconds of the fight.
3. Joel Julio who is a ****er who landed solid shots on Kirkland should've KO'd kirk within the first 3 minutes of the fight, yes?
Do you see how silly you Ishida clingers sound when you hold on to your sole claim to fame?Comment
