    • Well if Foreman fights like he did in Zaire, Vitali probably stops him before Ali did. Vitali wouldn't play any games and end it pretty early.

Vitali wouldn't play any games and stop him before 7??

Is this the same Vitali who couldn't get rid of Adamek before 10? Or the same Vitali who couldn't get rid of Danny Williams in 7? Or are we talking about the guy who couldn't get rid of Purrity, Sanders, Peter, Arreola & Gomez in 7?

And now he'll take out one of the greatest chins of all times in less than the time it took him to get rid of Danny Williams?

The Kliterati have reached a new low today.

To answer the question. It's possible but not very likely. Vitali has significant advantage in size, reach and speed.

Foreman's reach is 3 inches longer than Vatali's.

Vitali clearly carried Adamek in front Adamek's home crowd. The thing is, Vitali 9 out of 10 times could smash his opposition down earlier if he only wanted.

You say truth hurts. Foreman was knocked out. Vitali was never. I seriously don't see Foreman taking those shots Lewis gave Vitali, considering Ali knocked out Foreman.

Every day is a new low :hahahaha9: One could say the Klitlickers are "out of touch with reality" but that would presume that they had at some point at least a tenuous connection to reality in the first place :chuckle9: The sad truth is they wouldn't know reality if it bit them on the ass.....they truly live in a fantasy world that's more akin to comic books than reality

It's true for all nuthuggers really

One fight doesn't take away from the fact that Vitali tends to stop his opponents late due to exhaustion and after they have taken a beating for 7-8 rounds and they more or less give up.

If he wanted to? is that serious? I can only take what he's done in the ring, and clearly Foreman had better power than Vitali. Guys fell over at the first shot that landed - that doesn't happen with Vitali.

As I said earlier, Foreman has a better case in this match-up as his resume shits on Vitali's and he knocks his opponents out early. He's also stood up to big punchers like Cooney, Frazier, Norton, Lyle, Morrison, Briggs, Young and Holyfield - 2-3 of which punch as hard as Vitali if not harder, the rest are comparable if only slightly less powerful.

Everyone knows Ali played a game on Foreman. He punched himself out. A prime Vitali couldn't KO a past prime LL who supposedly has a weak chin. But he KOs the best chin (one of) in history within 7? come on. If it went the distance, I believe Vitali would win. Thing is no one went the distance with a prime Foreman from 71-76 ish. And I don't believe Vitali would either. Maybe he would. But he'd look like he did after the LL fight.

                Just my honest appraisal.

This Boxing Goat is the worst.

He said Foreman only beat on little guys. I mean, how ignorant can't you be? First off, it's not even true. Many of his opponents were in the 6'2"-6'4"/215-230 range.

How many of Vitali's were in the 6'5"-6'8"/240-255 range? lol

Heavyweights in that era were just physically smaller. Foreman is only 6'3. When you watch his fights, he's normally the bigger man in comparison to his opponents. It'll give you the delusion that he is much bigger and stronger than his post-80's heavyweight counterparts.

Foreman honestly couldn't box very well. He didn't show up with a game plan outside of trying to knock them out. He didn't have more than one dimension. Honestly, all he did was stalk his opponents. He couldn't even cut off the ring. Often times you'll even see lesser fighters tee-off on Foreman before Foreman eventually catches them. He was just a brute. He didn't set up punches. He would just overwhelm you. A lot of times you can see him even hitting his opponents with his forearms due to how sloppy he was. Also, lets remember, Foreman was a 6 round fighter. If he didn't KO you before round 7, you had nothing to worry about for the rest of the fight. Foreman's power was more overwhelming thudding blows, more so than concussive one shot knockouts (Tommy Hearns-esque). A lot of his knockdowns/outs featured pushing, off-balance tackles, forearm bashing, and leg-tangling..

I honestly don't see Foreman ever catching a 6'7 Ukrainian who's exceptional at playing keep-away for a full 12 rounds all the while gassing opponents out. I see Vitali actually winning via late round TKO after Foreman runs out of steam.
