People back in the 60s and 70s said the same. Marciano, Louis would beat Ali.

For some reason people don't appreciate current fighters.

It happens in every era they always think the previous era was somewhat better.

      Nothing new to me.

        Leonard - 141 to 200 (at the very least) = 29.5%

        Pacquiao - 106 to 145.5 = 27%

Admittedly less in it than I thought, but consider the following: Pacquiao's first pro fight was at 16. He may have been fully grown height-wise (by the same token he may not have been) but between the ages of 16 and 20 you fill out naturally. Within the year he was fighting half a stone heavier, so I would argue that his base weight is 113 even though he fought at 106 when he was younger.

D4thincarnation is a rare case of partial ******ation. He's a fairly intelligent dude who only gets ******ed when it comes to Pacquiao and Mayweather.

All you did there was say exactly what you said before, you didn't address my point about experience which is indisputable. I do agree to an extent that people tend to disregard achievements made in the present. Happens in football, films, literature (although I agree with the latter) etc.

Yeah I've always had the guy down as a great poster. Still a very nice guy but we just totally disagree on this issue.

Pacquiao had to fight with weights in his pockets for his first fight.

He was tiny, probably down to being malnorished.

Who knows what he could have achieved if he had 3 square meals as a child.

Fine to disagree, it would be pretty boring if we all agreed on everything.

But mark my words, in 30 years time almost every ATG list will have Pacquiao above SRL.

Leonard had less fights, less experienced than Pacquiao.

Pacquiao has come through much more adversity than Leonard and has great self-belief, more than Leonard.

SRL missed out a few top contenders, Pryor being the main one.

I have the Human Windmill in my top 3. They are great fighters from every generation including this one.
