he's a great fighter and a legend, but i think his time has passed. not so much about the money, but he's probably just in love with boxing. hopefully this won't be another michael jordan situation.

yeah, why risk getting his pretty face busted up if he doesn't have to? he should just stay home, **** his hot wife and run

Oscar is the worst coward i have ever seen in boxing..he fought hopkins for a pig pay day and got knocked the *** out..he beat up smaller gatti, inexpereinced vargas, old julio cesar chavez, ran like a ***** against trinidad, barely won against quartey and whitaker..why the *** is a star then?only thing he is coming back is for money, money and money..that ***** loved money so much that he even made hopkins who knocked him out and mosley who beat his ass twice as into partnership..tell me would anyone ever be a friend with someone who beat u badly?hope he gets knock the **** out by mayorga and hope he doesnt let mayorga into promotional thang.

                fits ma ass!

Titi Trinidad who dint have boxing ability lasted 12 rounds (he got KOed) gainst a younger, hungrier Bernard Hopkins.

de la hoya put on a "Oscar" performance when Hop hit him on the belly on that 9th round. de la hoya din't back up, nor did he do shyt! All he did was show up, move around then "lie" down. LOL!

de la hoya has betta boxing skills than Tito and he fought the older version of Hopkins and he got KOed "supposedly" in the 9th round. LOL!

                  hmm

Mayorga did take a beating from Tito but Oscar is not Tito. Also, Oscar's 1st fight back from a LONG layoff we shouldn't expect him to look great. Mayorga is going to press him and Oscar's legs aren't as good as they used to be. I sure hope Oscar wins, but I dunno. I could Mayorga pressuring him and exposing some rust.

I think Oscar is coming back for legacy. He has PLENTY of money. If not for legacy then he's coming back for spotlight. There's a chance he may just come back for one fight to end his career with a good win. It wasn't that long ago that Mayo was top 10 p4p. My hope is that Oscar is coming back to end his career with a ****, a fight the likes of not only Mayorga, but Margarito, Quartey (if he doesn't lose in his comeback), Ouma, Karmazin, Wright, and Floyd. If he just fought 2 or 3 of these guys I'd be thrilled and it would really make Oscar's resume even greater than it is.
