Do You Think Oscar De La Hoya Is....

Do you think De La Hoya is going to make a serious comeback next year? Do you think he still has it as a fighter? Or is this just to make more money?

he's coming back to make money and only money. If he wanted to add to his legacy he would and should only come back for winky wright.

This is exactly why I've been a harsh critic of DLH, yes it's true that if you were to look at Hoya's resume it is a who's who of boxing, but if you take a closer look at it alot of it was timed for the right picking as to when those fighters were on a downward slide. I mean if Winky doesn't show any slowing down you bet your @ss we will never see that fight materialize. Somehow if DLH were to say He's willing to fight anybody, anytime, anywhere it just doesn't sound believable unlike the Pacs', Morales', Holyfields', Haglers', Durans' of the world, guys I would trust to head into an alley fight. De La Hoto is a chicken**** w/ a lot of talent and skill however he is about as manufactured as Britney Spears, people are giving the guy props for showing grit against a Felix Sturm....please. Then showed his true colors(think rainbow) against the Executioner.

If Oscar is going to comeback, he should make sure first that he really wants to fight. If he doesn't, maybe its better better for him to retire and enjoy his golden life.

trust me if oscar come back and fights , he will be ready. he wont come back for the money because i think he has enough of it. its all about his legacy and he doesnt wanna go out with a loss , especially a knockout loss.
he's far from old and if he comes into shape like in the hopkins fight, i dont see anybody that could beat him at 154 or 147, other than winky and that fight would be close.
