Mayweather has out sold Pacman on every common opponent.

    Numbers don't lie, people do!

    • Pacman/JMM3 did far better than FMJ/JMM.

Numbers don't lie, indeed, people do.

          Hatton vs
          FM 920K ($47M, $10.39M gate)
          MP 850K ($45M, $8.83M gate)

          Cotto vs
          FM 1.5M ($94M, $12M gate)
          MP 1.25M ($70M, $8.85M gate)

          Marquez vs
          FM 1.05M ($52M, $6.81M gate)
          MP 1.45M ($78M, $11.65M gate)

          Mosley vs
          FM 1.4M ($78.3M, $11.03M gate)
          MP 1.35M ($76M, $8.88M gate)

*DLH fight doesn't count as they were both clear B-sides, which is not relevant to today, and FM was a slight favorite vs DLH whereas DLH-MP was seen as total mismatch and cherry-pick for DLH.

Not much difference at all, and Pacquaio actually got more buys and averaged more when you add the numbers up as A-sides vs common opponents.

In the revenue those fights generated it's a $311M to $307M edge to Floyd, pumped up by the recent Mayweather-Cotto numbers (on a card that co-featured Canelo-Mosley).

Also have to consider Pacquiao outsold Floyd in 2 of the last 3 years, his fights generating more money in those years (If Floyd wins this year they will split the last four years 2-2 as PPV King), and Pacquiao had more people buy his PPVs and more that paid at the gate to watch him live.

This fight is as clear a 50-50 as you will get. Mayweather can't do 3M buys without Pacquiao, Pacquiao can't do 3M buys without Floyd. They will share equal responsibility for the fight breaking records. If Floyd can give Cotto a 65-35 share in the PPV and fight revenue, he can give Pacquiao 50-50.

Offering 0% of the PPV and fight revenue in a fight expected to break PPV and fight revenue records says he doesn't want the fight or is looking to surpass Ronnie Biggs for the greatest heist of all-time. Either way there is 0% chance the fight happens with Mayweather offering 0% of the PPV and fight revenue. He needs to negotiate Pacquiao's gauranteed purse, which Pacquiao has said he'd have no problem taking less than Floyd's gaurantee, and do the right thing with 50-50 on the PPV and fight revenue.

          • long story short, manny offered to take the smaller share with 45% going to him and 55% going to floyd.... IF floyd wins, in other words the winner gets the bigger purse.

Interestingly enough, Floyd who is a gambler isn't interested in betting on himself and REFUSED MANNY'S OFFER.

so if your job asked you to take a pay-cut for you next pay check you would do it ??
