Whether his background story is real or not has nothing to do with what he did. And, for what he did a 3 yr ban is not harsh whatsoever. He should have thought about it before actually cheating.

I know it's irrelevant if you look at it purely from the sport's perspective, I agree. But i know people who went through tough times as a child and those experiences dictated the choices they made as adults, usually in a negative and self-defeating way. So if I was an adjudicator, I would show some leniency because of the past. That's all I'm saying. I know technically that's not the way any adjudication on this issue would be conducted, Peterson's life story would go completely unacknowledged in any official ruling.

i must assume the ban -- if it happens -- will only apply to nevada? and most likely other US state commissions, but not necessarily all?

I think when you are as destitute as he was that you probably become good at a victim appearance & playing dumb & having people giving you the benefit of the doubt so I assume his past is at least somewhat true if not 100% based on how he has battled this current situation.

hmmm, interesting points right there, definitely worth taking into consideration.. his experience on the streets might have called for certain behavioral patterns, playing dumb etc.. food for thought no doubt..

Was just listening to the Mike Costello podcast regarding this situation and he said he has no doubt that the Peterson life story is true because he interview sooo many people in washington who confirm word for word every single details about the two brothers story and how barry hunter looked after them, He also claimed he is 100% certain that Peterson knowingly took drugs.

Ahhh, so they've interviewed people and confirmed all the details so, it seems it must be true then I guess. There is a possibility that the people they interviewed could just be reiterating what they heard from the brothers I guess. I'd like to see those interviews, try and piece things together. I'm gonna listen to that Costello podcast now and take it from there..

First of all, I'm siding with the likes of Ariza on this one: If he indeed had low T and used those pellets, it didn't really matter. Still his fault though, because it's his duty to know what he can and cannot take. But he wouldn't really have gained any edge.

About the topic, I think every fighters story is told in such a way that it generates more money, obviously. I guess it's about right.

We have all heard it before, Basically "struggle", "hardship" "tough life" so give PEDerson a handout! PEDerson feels like its his entitlement to two world titles even though he cheated instead of "earning" the titles "legally".

Hope he ends up in a coma or like G Man!
