Did Peterson Lie About His Past?

After the whole scandal with the drugs, do you think Peterson actually lied about his history and his past. I'm starting to question if his life story is even 100% true or if it's been exaggerated severely for effect.. If it is true then it's a sad story no doubt and I wouldn't wish that on anyone but damn, it's really tough to determine how genuine this guy is now! What's the general consensus?

I remember Brandon Rios said Ortiz was a total liar and that his story was complete bs.. he said he got inside information on him, and he could prove he was a liar or something.. but who knows.. Rios isn't exactly the most reliable source of info himself..

Look I have been very outspoken against Peterson. Like I said 3 years ban. He cheated plain and simple and his excuse doesn't fly.

But, whether or not he was really homeless or if he had it rough or not as a kid is really irrelevant.

I think when you are as destitute as he was that you probably become good at a victim appearance & playing dumb & having people giving you the benefit of the doubt so I assume his past is at least somewhat true if not 100% based on how he has battled this current situation.

Was just listening to the Mike Costello podcast regarding this situation and he said he has no doubt that the Peterson life story is true because he interview sooo many people in washington who confirm word for word every single details about the two brothers story and how barry hunter looked after them, He also claimed he is 100% certain that Peterson knowingly took drugs.

lol.. I tell you why I'm wondering about this. Because if Peterson's story is completely true, for some reason I still feel sorry for the guy, even though he cheated like this. So I'd like to determine whether it's true or false.

If it is true, I think that 3 year ban is a bit harsh, I say 2 years total. Because 3 years could completely ruin his career and any chance of being anything, that extra 12 months could seal his fate. If he went through those experiences as a kid, and he ruins his chance as a boxer.. that's a very hard deal for any one individual.. But if it' is falsified, than sure.. 3 years.. ruin the guys career..

Whether his background story is real or not has nothing to do with what he did. And, for what he did a 3 yr ban is not harsh whatsoever. He should have thought about it before actually cheating.
