I won't argue with that. I'm not trying to change your opinion just trying to convey my own. To each their own. Leonard wasn't exactly a little guy though. He wasn't huge, but a lot bigger than Floyd is now. Unfortunately there aren't any fights we can look at to get any insight on how their styles mesh because they both 'think' so differently.
I'll say though, Watching Leonard against Floyd Sr you instantly see things that Leonard would do that other men haven't and refuse to. The way floyd blades himself, fighters are reluctantto use their right hands out of fear they will be penalized for hitting Floyd in the back. Be it kidney, lower, anywhere in that area. Leonard had no care for the roll, and beat on Sr's back, kidneys, shoulders, elbows.
Sr may not be teh fighter his son is but he carried a lot more size and natural strength. Leonard dwarfed him in that area that night. I think Leonard wouldn't box with floyd, or respect his power, but instead, look to corner him and tee off as he did his father. And, well, thats why I just don't see the fight going very well for Floyd.
Partially because of how I've seen him perform under those situations in the past (Oscar, Cotto...... dare I say Castillo?). However, I've seen SRL completely shut down and become very respectful when people have timed his jab, countered him, or tried to return the favor and use lateral movement excessively.
