You're talking about hypotheticals. The fact is El Maachi beat both these guys on the same night. Why are they fighting for the British title? You can't say "oh well they would've beaten him over 12 rounds". Theres no basis for that.

El Maachi should've been getting a shot. Most people who win Prizefighter get a break but it seems the losers are getting all the breaks in this version.

I agree that Maachi should get a break, i don't know why he's been outta action for nearly a year, any clues on that.. injury or just bad management?

To me, if Maachi beats Toms (which I'm pretty sure he will if the time off didnt affect him) then he should fight the winner of Witter vs Lynes. I'm down for that. But at the same time the Witter vs Maachi final was a majority decision, one ref had it a draw, some people gave it Maachi others to Witter. And he beat Lynes by split decision too, so another close 3-rounder. Its not as if he blasted both these guys out, with different refs he could have lost to both.

But, overall I do agree that Maachi deserved a title shot over Lynes or Witter. It really started with Lynes being given the shot after prizefighter, so if anyone's at fault it's Lynes rather than Witter. Maachi should have been the one fighting for Purdy's belt, not Lynes.

I would like to see hatton make a one fight come back just to settle the score with him their both older and past their primes but id like to see it and this scenario would sell ppv's like hot cakes in the uk and likely a lot of the hardcore boxing fans would watch it as well

el maachi doesnt have a british passport so therefore he cant box for the british title, he said its in the post and he would be getting it soon, but seems to be taking ages, ****** rule really considering he must pay all his taxes and what not to the commision.
