The British Boxing Board of Control are trying to stop the fight - but the heavyweight grudge match between David Haye and Dereck Chisora has sent them a wicked message. The board is determined to come down hard on the show, which has been sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation despite neither Haye nor Chisora currently holding licenses to box in Britain.

Sounds like The British Boxing Board wants a piece of the pie now!

Can't wait for this one. Their two styles almost guarantee a potential FOTY.

Thank God people have got the right idea. There is NO moral outrage on the ground here in the U.K.; the two guys may be a bit arsey, but that doesn't preclude them from being able to fight on moral grounds in my book. Only the greybeards at the BBBoC think there's anything immoral about this fight. I thought it was the masses that were supposed to be susceptible to hysterical journalism. Evidently I was wrong.

Warren should make about 2 million £ just from ticket sales. Haye is probably getting around 1 million £.

I expected it to sell big, it's one that people really want to see. Should be exciting for however long it lasts.

That's the trouble. The whole thing is completely farcical in many ways, but it still has the makings of a seriously good dust-up.

Surprising this is really happening. How the heck they will keep Chisora away from Haye before the bell rings, on can wonder. Can't call the HW dull at the moment
