Khans already been in camp for 9 weeks he now needs to cool off and get back at it in a couple of weeks. Couple that with negotiations which would take a couple of weeks and it leaves Devon with a camp of 5 weeks it's just not sufficient. That fight wont happen.

No1 is going to be excited with the opponen on June 30tj and we only got LP to blame for that

He should just fight someone like Joan Guzman. A good/solid stay busy fight against someone who can still fight.

He might want to change those intentions then. At no point is the fight off. Just because one source says one thing doesn't mean it makes it officially off. Better have a mindset to fight because I haven't seen anywhere saying that it is off.

HBO already spent a portion of their boxing budget on khan- Peterson. I don't think they will approve a journeyman opponent for khan. Unless they get fully refunded on that. I don't completely know how that would work. Its still early though we don't know if June 30 is set in stone.

Even if PEDerson is allowed to fight I wouldn't blame Khan for pulling out. Just suprised they didn't do it straight away.
Peterson does not deserve a payday

Can't blame Khan, but if Peterson's doctors note(or whatever it is)sways the boxing comm to give him a license then it put's Khan in a funky situation..I think he might even be sued for pulling out..

I have a feeling we are not going to like the opponent for that June 30 date. An interruption in camp and having to resume in a couple weeks sounds like a disaster in the making if he fights someone like Devon.
                      Completely agree.
