Is Pac guilty of being a parrot and letting everyone around him influence him? Sure. That's the biggest problem I have with him. He doesnt make his own decisions when he very well has the power to dictate exactly what he wants. I also have no doubt in my mind that he himself would ever find ways to weasel his way out of a fight with Floyd with crazy excuses like both Floyd and Arum have come up with. If Arum calls Pac tomorrow and tells him that he has come to an agreement for a fight in December with Floyd with a 50/50 split, Pac would be all for it.
Let's say I give you the benifit of the doubt. Wouldn't that mean that in your book, Pac has zero responsiblity in this matter?
In other words, DLH, Cotto and Mayweather have all gotten from underneath the Arum strong hold. Why hasn't Pac?
Going by your logic, Pac can say Mayweather's not the commission all day and refuse the test; but when shiiit hit's the fan, all he has to do is blame his comments on Bob Arum. Where's the accountability here?Comment

Honestly I feel like Floyd should have just fought Pacquiao without the testing. I don't think Pac was on PEDS as much as I believe his fights were matched up for him to look better than he was against bigger faded fighters or guys not willing to engage. Floyd had to be a lil nervous to give Pac all of these props about him knocking out bigger guys when he is the best defensive fighter in the sport. I don't know. Now that I think about it a lil, Floyd has been sounding a lil in awe about Pac's weight climb but like I said. I think the fights that Roach and Arum lined up made him look unstoppable and Floyd bought it OR Floyd knows something we don't know. All in all, Manny is the same Manny from a long time ago and Marquez proved that. If Pacquiao was really on anything i think he would have fought better and higher ranked fighters without catch weights.Comment

Fair point. Then again, I'm not convinced they have. It's not like they haven't "accepted" before. The mere fact it took them two years to reach this revelation is alarming enough.Comment

I've looked everywhere, but can't find any reference to Arum being a European. From his facial appearance, I'd say he was of Sephardi descent. And I'm the resident expert for this subject on Boxingscene.Comment

Ok so now you're saying that Pac saying Floyd isn't the commission was because Arum told him to do so.
Let's say I give you the benifit of the doubt. Wouldn't that mean that in your book, Pac has zero responsiblity in this matter?
In other words, DLH, Cotto and Mayweather have all gotten from underneath the Arum strong hold. Why hasn't Pac?

When have you ever heard of Arum presenting a fight to Pac and Pac ducking or backing out? Never. When Floyd and Arum stop playing the excuses game and become serious about making this fight happen, it will!Comment
