I read that they were re-airing it on ppv for the same price from May 7th -9th. Not sure I've ever seen this done for a boxing ppv before. Could this be a sign of lower than expected #'s?

They do it with most PPVs and they had planned to do it prior to the event anyway. In fact when Cotto-Mayweather ended they announced that the PPV would be repeated.

And I say 2 million is realistic. Cotto is a bigger draw than when May fought Oscar, add on Canelo-Mosley plus Cinco De Mayo. Mayweather managed 1.3 million against a non-draw like Ortiz, Cotto is worth another 600k buys alone.
