Just because some fighters don't want none of Sergio doesn't mean Cotto can stoop to their level.

Damn i voted late next year, I meant to put other. Cotto's next big fight will be June 2013 Puerto Rican day parade weekend. I'm not sure against who yet but that's when Cotto's next big fight will be. He will have a tune up between December - February.

Canelo while inexperienced has good power and youth on his side. He'll keep coming forward

Sergio though is strong but fades probably worse than Cotto. He fights going backwards and his hands low. Cotto will pump that jab at him at will. I think Cotto has a great shot so long as that defense he employed last Saturday continues to show up and be improved on. If he can work on that overhand right he'd be good and I'm convinced that he'll never fix that left uppercut that always catches him, but maybe he can mitigate it with some sort of hybrid earmuff/philly shell that he sometimes employs.

Either way, if he wants to fight for money, go for Canelo, legacy, go for Maravilla

I vote for the cotto vs Martinez fight. Cotto has more to gain in terms of legacy fighting Sergio than being a gatekeeper opponent for canelo. Also beating Sergio could set cotto up for a rematch with either PAC or may and give him an option to retire with a **** load Of cash
