    He throws the left uppercut and straight right better than anyone.

    Many thought he couldn't throw combo's anymore, but he still can.

    He also throws that looping right hand lead with speed and power, he stunned Cotto several times with that punch. His left uppercut, whether it was in the middle of the ring or off the ropes, was another great punch in the fight. He hit Cotto with that over and over again.

        When someone is charging at you with combos, you have to throw combos with them back to back them up. You can't just throw a jab or a straight, you have to get them to just keep distracting them and make sure they never get a rhythm going. Also Cotto got caught with a few rights coming in and did u guys notice that He NEVER landed a clean left hook?

          I was surprised at how quick he dropped the straight right, I recall him throwing two straight right leads after the 3rd round, one of which landed perfectly. He threw the sweeping right seriously for the first time in the 3rd, from then on it was the money punch.

          Then he started landing the left uppercut and put them together beautifully;

          Things like that are why I think he's the best fighter to watch, as well as the most talented in general.

            Yeah Mayweather is the best at making adjustments. He throws whatever punches he needs to win. I never see him throw looping right hands.

              Yep, it's not a punch that you see from Mayweather

              In the last 8 or so years I can only recall him throwing it over and over in the later stages of the Oscar fight. He was using the jab to the body and following it with the sweeping right over the top...other than that, once against Marquez is about the only other time.

              It was a great adjustment.

                For me personally that was the most shocking stat of the night. Floyd threw more punches than Cotto. WHAT!??!?!?

                  Not like this...Floyd was fighting like the Gatti fight, but way more faster...WAAY faster, and the punches sounded like leather lightneing bolts striking Cotto's face..Crowd was going WILLD, And he was fighting on the insides, countering Cotto's combinations, with his very own 17 punch combinations, crowd was goin wild the whole fight...He was so aggressive, that he was wreckless alot of the time but that shiet was amazing as hell...the brawling with lightning quick punches, I have never seen Floyd fight like that...but in his next fight, he needs to do what he did in the first 4 rounds, and use that new style to break guys down, opposed to brawling on the insides
