No. Vada forgoes T:E ratio testing in favor of CIR testing. Urine will only tell the tale of what an athlete is using based upon the test that is administered. Provided one maintains a T:E ratio within the legal limits of the sanctioning body (some 6:1 on the Olympic stage 4:1), an athlete can use testosterone without raising an eyebrow, once knowing how a singular dose effects his/her body. VADA is aware of this and uses a CIR method, so even if your ratios remain consistent, You will be caught due to the difference in molecular weight and structure of a man's own testosterone and that which comes out of a vial. Which is why the "basic" test didn't produce a + with Lamont, but VADA's test MONTHS later didComment

Yeah man, everything Peterson worked hard for went out the window. I was rooting for this guy. Talking about he didn't remember if he took something or not. Dude is obviously guilty.Comment

This proves that they need to make Olympic testing mandatory. Mayweather seems to be gaining ground on this subject now that cases are coming out liek this. Granted, I don't think Pac is on steroids/PED's, but something has to be done as a whole before this sport sinks itself completaly.Comment

It's not hard to comprehend his point.Comment

But the commission that Peterson would've "got away with it" was D.C., which handled the first fight between Lamont and Amir.

I didn't think it took that long for them to test blood or urine for PEDs. Is this how long it usually takes? How long have they been sitting on this information?
Man was really excited about this fight. Had a lot of respect for Peterson and the character that he brings to the ring, this will be a major setback for him.Comment

If he took these pellets before the the first Khan fight, how come the DC commission didn't find any thing in his urine sample immediately after the bout, but this urine sample, months later, did? Fishy, to say the least. The fight should be overturned to an NC.
This was a very long time ago and I can't quite remember it exactly, but this program that I seen shot by ABC (I believe) interviewed some doctors who basically said, there is no accurately set level of testosterone for any age group, which makes it very easy for any guy to walk in and get something prescribed for it. Peterson may have had legitimately low levels of testosterone or not - it's obviously not our place to say, and we may never truly know.Comment
