But, I know in the Peterson-Khan it wasn't. The fighters paid for it. Or maybe just Peterson side since he was the one who requested it. I'm not sure about Ortiz-Berto but maybe not either.
    That's what I don't get.

I imagine he will use that in his defense to get his license.

That, along with a doctors note I can easily see this fight going forward.

That's all you're saying. Why post that long article if that's all you had to say?

And how in the HELL does that compare to Pac?
Did you even read it? It's not just that AA asked for it and it was "issue" but it was all the lies and excuses made afterwards.

Not the same lies and excuses or as many as Pac. But, a lie is a lie and an excuse is an excuse.

He's on the same boat with Pac or anyone who doesn't do testing. No different.

That's not exactly right. Sample A and B were taken at separate dates.
The positive sample in question was taken March 19 in Los Angeles. Both Khan and Peterson signed their VADA paperwork, gave urine and blood samples and then went to the final press conference announcing their fight. The samples, which were tested at the UCLA Medical Lab, a WADA-approved facility, came back positive on April 12. Peterson was informed the next day as was his team.

When an athlete tests positive, he has the right to have the “B” sample tested in order to gather more information for an appeal or to outright clear his name. After Team Peterson gave the go ahead, the “B” sample was tested on April 30 and the result once again was positive.

But yeah, I believe he was tested again later after A and B.

I'm pretty sure both samples are taken at the same time, 'A' sample is tested, if positive the fighter may have the 'B' sample tested.

I think he requested but he thought he would have enough time to cycle off and having it cleaned out his system before they test him. Not thinking they would test him right off the bat on the first press conference announcing the fight. Which they did. Pretty ****** on his part.

But, yea he would have a Doctors note. His lawyer already indicated as much yesterday in an article. I will try find it.

But, I think some fans will buy his excuse though. A few in this thread are already buying it. It is what it is I suppose.

No, while the article doesnt exactly distinguish, sample A and B come from the same piss

                  Very ****** on his part.

How likely do you think it is the fight goes ahead?

I have a feeling it might.

I am 50/50 on it. But, as much bitching and complaining Schafer and Golden Boy are doing. I'm getting the same felling that you are.

I called it from the beginning. The fact that they are even considering the fight go on with the failed test is laughable. What was the point of the drug tests then?
