Honestly I think its this. He most likely thought whatever he was taking would be out of his system by the time training started. Damn shame Khan had to take on L like this. Feel bad for him the same way I feel bad for Cotto taking his first L. to Margacheato.

When ever someone is accused of steroids everyone always assumes they're guilty and that they have been using them their whole fighting career.

I however would like to know the entire investigation. I am not at all saying that I believe Peterson is innocent. However, I do remember an incident with Orlando Salido. After his fight with Guerrero, Salido took two urine test. One tested positive for Nandrolone (a steroid that can apparently be found naturally) and one tested negative. Orlando Salido immediately went to LabCorp and got retested and the test again came up negative.
However because of one negative test, his W was changed to a NC and now everyone just assumes this guy is guilty, and a cheat.
