I have the same standards for him that I hold Mayweather to, and these are those standards. If they don't meet them, they are a disappointment. Needless to say I've been disappointed for a while now, with both fighters.

I'm not trying to argue. I'm simply trying to figure out the weight the fight would be fought at. I just don't see Pacman-Martinez ever happening.

I was rather surprised at you when you did me like that the other day. I couldn't believe what I was reading. From a usually classy poster like yourself.

I have days sometimes. It happens, I don't really mean it.

Again, I don't care if it's realistic, it's just the expectations I have for two ATG fighters like Pacquiao and Mayweather. It's f***ing ridiculous that we are STILL waiting for these two to fight each other. The only option I would care to see besides those two is Martinez at 154. I wish Sergio would stop talking about 150, don't even give those two that option.

Why wont he fight Martinez? They have recently added a new opponent for floyd since Cotto couldn't get the job done. Why won't Floyd fight Rust Red Alvarez?

Granted most of the critics saying this are pacfarts and just want to see FLoyd lose by all means. But what gets me is the fact that they claim Floyd went up in weight to avoid Pac, but insist he should fight every junior middle weight all they way up to super middle weight smh....its crazy.
If you're going to make a point at least put it into context. Martinez has been on the cards way before the Cotto deal was even finalised and Alvarez had been discussed previously by Golden Boy.

They're hardly new names being piled on after Cotto. Unless you're a fool it's the natural assumption to make- the Pac fight seems too complicated to make, Floyd's moved up to 154, those names have been in play previously, so they're going to come up when a next opponent for Floyd is discussed.

pac man does not needd to go anywhere near martinez, he got his BS belt at 154 (fought for 150 against an undeserving opponent) but he needs to stay at 147.... after the floyd cotto fight i see why both of them need to probably stay at 147 for the remainder of their careers.... maybe floyd can fight martinez and thats a slight maybe BUT I DONT SEE IT HAPPENING

I know. I'm just tired of asking them to fight the best challengers out there. I mean their fans make excuses & protect them to a shameful extent.

That's why I support guys like B-hop & the Punisher over them. I mean yeah Hop might complain about losing, but he will fight the best. Yeah the Punisher might get exposed here & there, but I guarantee 1 thing, he would fight either for 5% of the purse right now.

The bold Jangles, perfect example. Martinez said he's moving back to 154. Floyd just fought there. There is no other fighter that Floyd should fight for pfp supremacy other than Martinez. But Floyd fans don't want the fight because they know Floyd runs a real risk of losing & badly.

But I don't even want to see the fight anymore. I'm content. I know it ends bad for either superstars to step into the ring with him.

I'll always be a Pacquiao fan, he has a career I can appreciate that allows me to ignore his bullsh** lately, but there's no way I can support him right now.

I'm literally done having favorite fighters, especially with Peterson being dirty. They always do something disappointing. I'm a Pacquiao fan, he might be dirty and starts fighting the worst fights he could. I support Bradley, he ducks Khan. I support Khan, he turns into a total b*tch after a loss. I support Peterson for two years when no one else even knows who he is, he's a cheat. I support Gamboa, he ducks Rios. I'm sick of it. Maybe I just have terrible luck choosing favorite fighters, or maybe there is just no reason to waste time supporting any of these fools.

People are going to be in for a shock if Floyd or Manny fights Martinez. Seriously these are 2 of the Top 35 ATG fighters who have beaten people bigger than them countless times.

Its become gay and trendy to somehow paint Martinez as SRR. Enough of this shyt already you damn trolls.

Martinez is a FLAWED, 37 year old fighter who hasn't fought at 154 in 3 fuccin years. SERIOUSLY.

Martinez is a great fighter but please hes not fuccin Tommy Hearns.

I feel kind of the same way, which is why I really want one of these two to fight him. I don't think either would get blown away at all. Floyd especially has a chance to give us something truly memorable against Martinez.

Bushbaby why don't you hold Martinez to the same standard??? This guy has been chasing Chavez Jr over a year now and I haven't seen you say anything negative about it.

                      And Macklin and Darren Barker???

Seriously hold Martinez to the same standard.
