Trinidad was an offensive powerhouse and the fact that Winky shut him out is a testament to Wrights ability. Is Jermain technically superior to Tito, yeah probably but he does he have the ability to outbox a guy like Winky? I personally don't believe so.

And like mic573 Winky has beaten fighters with all types of styles, Jermain is a good young fighter but he can't beat Wright.

Shane Mosely who has MUCH shorter reach than Winky, FOUGHT in a division he shoulnt have been in managed a close 2nd fight wit Winky!

Taylor has betta reach than Shane, arguably betta jab and IS A BIG MILWEIGHT! If a shorter Mosely did a close match gainst Winky, a fighta like Jermain WILL Do BETTA!

and you keep bringin up Trinidad. that's really stoopid considering Trinidad dint know what to do (he was confuse). He dint have ta right boxing tools and ability to do damage. From the get go I said Taylor's activity would make it close but activity is nothing when the other guy is blocking almost everything and countering. Winky Wright has always been hard to hit flush.

Jermain can outbox Winky with his athleticism and his reach.

I'm not sure if you know, but HBO usually adds up a couple inches to some fighters to add an edge to the tale of the tape.

For example, they said Samuel Peter was 6'2'' but He isn't an inch above 6'0''.

There isn't always a positive relationship between boxing ability and athleticism, to base this fight soley on the tale of the tape is crazy. You have to take in to account actual boxing skill and experience.

Wright has more of both.
