    Hopkins Taylor Punch Stats

Note about Taylor's jab, which Lampley kept saying was so much more effective than than the 1st fight.

He landed 64 jabs in 12 rounds.

That's 5 jabs per round vs the 3 per round he landed in the 1st fight.

No need to be a sarcastic prick.

A lot of people didn't see the fight nevermind the stats.

        Here it is for them.

Does that count punches during a clinch?

Yeah Hopkins landed more, that was probably going to be his point. But they should show round by round and who hit the harder shots.

Compubox isn't always right and punch stats don't tell the whole story. Hopkins was passive most of the fight and payed for it.

I could count the "flush" shots Taylor landed on two hands.

The difference between this fight and the last is that the punch stats were close to favoring Hopkins almost the whole way. It didn't just start at the end.

Taylor was credited with a LOT of shots that glanced or were blocked.

Hopkins defense was better this time than the last.

I can't believe anyone would assert Taylor landed the better punches.

Hopkins' were crisp and on target.

I think you're just trying to further your supposition that Hopkins should have won, which he shouldn't have. Also, those inaccurate numbers don't reflect who landed the harder, more effective shots, and that certainly wasn't Hopkins.

Yeah, Hopkins landed the harder punches but it was too little to late and Hopkins fought passive and cautious AGAIN. No one to blame but himself. Whines like a ***** at the end too, anything else new? What a twirp.
