Are you reading my post. PAC did fight Maragrito at 154 right? So I guessed you answered your own question about him moving up three weight classes. He gave the only man a rematch that gave him a close fight Castillo nd he did it with five months, who else did he need to fight twice?

So pacs amazing he moved up 3 weight classes. But dont mean he had to do it against DLH. When he beat DLH he fancied he could do it against marge as well. But your going off on a tangent now.

So why didnt Floyd rematch JMM at a lower weight like 135 or 140 at the very least? You want Pac to rematch Cotto at 154 as Cotto would have a better chance? So why dont Floyd rematch opponents in their ideal chosen weights? Why didnt he fight hatton at 140 or rematch him 140?

Floyd moved up three weight classes to you know he started at 130 then went to 135 and then 140 and then 147 and then 154 so I guess he's amazing too. Do you not understand how weight classes work? Martinez naturally walks around at probably 168-170+. So if he were to make 154 then he will hydrate all the way back up to 168-170+. This would give him a huge size advantage over Floyd the night of the fight. Look at Ortiz for an example. He is fighting at 147 when he should really be at 154. Ortiz can make 147 but he goes all the way up to about 165 in his fight vs Floyd. These fighters can train their body to make a certain weight then rehydrate back to their natural weight over night. Apparently Chavez.Jr can rehydrate 20 pounds over night back to his natural weight. This is why Floyd vs Martinez at 154 isn't a good idea.
