the cheat part never confirmed, look at cotto's face after the second fight, and remember it's with fewer punches landed, that means how would his face have looked with the same amount of punches landed like in first fight??..the same! and we all know he was clean in the rematch, even a slower version of margarito,no defense, shot hit him and marked up his face with fewer punches, like i said if he landed the same amount it would look like the first fight

Like I said Cotto is a warrior but he won 2 rounds. 3 at best.

This was the fight I wanted to see mayweather in. He had to earn the win. Loved the combinations he put together too.
He (Floyd) didn't give the fans a "toe to toe" battle it was Cotto pressuring the fight 90 percent of the fight. And Cotto backed off anytime Mayweather started to use the "Elbow".

      • In boxing, I've never seen a camp complain about how many points they lost by. Who gives a shìt if the score was 118 to 110 or 115 to 113 your guy clearly lost the ****ing fight. They are upset because they thought they had the perfect game plan but it didn't work. So now they want to b!tch about how big of a margin they lost by. Pathetic to say the least.

Another factor could be floyd's more than lackluster choices since comeback.
You were rooting for Cotto so stop fronting with all of your pics of Floyd getting hit and the bloodied nose. You should be ashamed of diminishing your boy Cotto's performance to make Floyd look bad. Not sure if you read the article on boxingscene or not but Cotto said Floyd was levels above him in his prime.

          • Ok...........

"Cotto only landed 105 punches on Floyd but landed 173 on Manny. So NOT Manny does not beat Floyd".................So, you are under-minding how many punches Cotto landed but what about how many Floyd missed? I mean, this was the greatest fighter who ever laced up gloves, fighting a fighter who was considered damaged goods and on top of that, it was the defensive genius who was bleeding by mid-fight. My point has been proven. Floyd is over-rated man. He's only as good as who he "picks" to fight. Manny would be a nightmare match-up for him. PERIOD. Otherwise, he would have fought him already. He knows what's up.

Your sig is a joke man. Mosley was a game and credible opponent after his Margarito decontruction. Marquez was not shot and was viable at the weight (although he would have been better given another 4 months training I think). Ortiz was coming off a big win, not Floyds fault he is mentally weak. Cotto was very, very game. I don't know what there is to be ashamed about with that resume.

I think you are comparing with another P4P's resume and if so I think it holds up well. I won't jump to that conclusion though.

Back to Cotto though. This Cotto came in with a plan, executed as best he was able to, trained hard and didn't have to weight drain. I give this Cotto the edge against Alvarez.

              • Clear loss, but 118-110 sounds like a score for Alvarez-Mosley. 116-112 or 117-111.

exactly. mayweather imagined he went toe to toe. but
he cant. the mosley fight proved that mayweather
                    is better off boxing

                    • Great point.... A weight drained Cotto had Pacquioa looking like a mummy the way he was wrapped up from that busted ear drum... And to piggy back, a weight drained Cotto landed darn near 80 punches more on Pac than he landed on Floyd.... And lastly, Pac and Arum wanted Cotto on Jun 9 th as their first choice but backed out because Cotto's unwillingness to "sacrifice his life" to make 147 again and Pacquioa lack of bravery to fight em at his natural weigjt.... BTW... These are all facts
