How do you give a CLOSE round to the challenger? Whatever happened to those days where if you don't beat the champion clearly in a round you don't get the round?

Kind of close. Floyd wins those rounds, but you can also see Cotto did very well, so if say someone else were to give those rounds to Cotto, i wouldnt be mad.

Definitely sure did, I had Cotto winning round 6,8,9 and 10 and even the rounds Mayweather won he had the left jab stuck in his face by Cotto..

They never existed. You score the round to who won the round, not to the champion just because hes the champion.

U guys complain about the judges cards but it seems most ppl had it the same way.

That is fine with me, I'm not really complaining I'm just saying that I don't think only won 2 rounds that one judge had it. I'm a firm believer in, in order to beat a champion you have to convincingly beat him. Sure I do believe floyd won the fight overall but the rounds in which were close he didn't convincingly beat cotto. My 2 cents though.

What rounds did you give to Cotto?

I gave cotto at least 4 rounds with some that were close but I don't have my sheet with me, at work. Floyd did win though.

This "you have to take the title from the champ" **** is one of the most overused and meaningless phrases in boxing.

First of all, its bull****. Second, it doesnt even apply to this fight because one guy CLEARLY won. And third, the belt was an afterthought. Nobody gave a *** that Cotto was a title holder.

I can say which rounds I gave to Cotto off the bat, 6 and 8.
