Seriously, the sooner this prick goes the better. I doubt it will be now though, just Floyd being Floyd.

Could he not at least give Martinez a shot? Also, if Bradley beats Pacquiao then he may be deserving of one as well. We'll see with Alvarez, but he has yet to beat a top-notch opponent.
He's in his "sorry for myself" "poor little me" , "Nobody don't love me" (sic) mode. I think it's the looming, sobering gaol sentence. Although he's been found guilty on 3 previous times of assault with violence (on women) this will be his first prison visit, until now the habitat of most of Mayweather's admirers. He should be happy to be going to meet some.

We saw what an immediately impending 2 year term did to Corrales, along with, of course needing to lose 9 lbs on weigh-in morning. Sweatbox revelry was needed, and he still failed twice.

Martinez is a bigger draw than Ortiz was, so why not give him a shot? He's also willing to go down to 150.

A Pacquiao fight would be ideal as would a Bradley fight if he beats Pacquiao.
Remember that u are a hardcore boxing fan, most casual fans don't wanna see Floyd fight Martinez, they don't even know who he is.. Floyd ain't gotta prove himself by fighting Martinez anyway he's won 3 belts at middleweight, I would prefer him to fight the Pac-Bradley winner and then retire... Sergio should be fighting at 160 with Chavez jr, Dirrell, Ward and them floyd pushed himself to the limit by fighting at 54 why can't Martinez do the same, Floyd was barely a welter when he stepped into the ring last night even most 140 pounders weigh around 147 on fight night.

I do believe Boxing is in need of reform because I believe the current system is way too political. I realize it is a business, but it is also a sport and generally I expect the best to eventually fight the best. Too often boxing fans are deprived of this for suspect reasons.

Cotto boxed smart and showed some of the blue prints, and that's why Floyd wants to retire two years before he said he wanted to call it quits. come on Floyd fight pac then call it quits. I thought Floyd was in it for the money, I guess not, he got scared he mite end up losing sooner then he thought,
