Could he not at least give Martinez a shot? Also, if Bradley beats Pacquiao then he may be deserving of one as well. We'll see with Alvarez, but he has yet to beat a top-notch opponent.

So Floyd (the self-proclaimed GOAT) won't fight Martinez essentially because he is not Mexican or Puerto Rican? Martinez would likely have a much bigger following if he was and popularity (potential for money) seems to be all Floyd cares about. Martinez is a bigger draw than Ortiz was, so why not give him a shot? He's also willing to go down to 150.

A Pacquiao fight would be ideal as would a Bradley fight if he beats Pacquiao.

Remember that u are a hardcore boxing fan, most casual fans don't wanna see Floyd fight Martinez, they don't even know who he is.. I do believe Boxing is in need of reform because I believe the current system is way too political. I realize it is a business, but it is also a sport and generally I expect the best to eventually fight the best. Too often boxing fans are deprived of this for suspect reasons.
