Just curious - What was your opinion on Pacquiao's performance against Marquez last year?

What does watching it with Mexicans & Cubans have to do with the outcome? It sounds like you guys were judging this fight with HATE towards Mayweather. Floyd won and deserves his props. No way near a robbery here. 117-113 and even 116-112 woulda been ok with the boxing world.

Styles make fights...a true fan to this sport knows that. Pac-Cotto & Floyd - Cotto are 2 different style matchups for Cotto.

Good fight. I always respected and liked Cotto and I didn't expect that he would give such a effort.

But still at the end of the day the only punch that he was landing clean and good was the jab. And he not exactly dominated with the jab. If you take the jab away from the connect percentage you know how much he actually landed - not much.

The meaningful punches were landed by Mayweather as usual. He was throwing more punches then Cotto and Cotto just couldn't keep up. In the championship rounds he was fading badly and Mayweather closed it with a superb 12th round.

Cotto probably won 3 rounds - how somebody can call robbery is beyond me with the exception of course if your love (for Cotto) or hate (for Mayweather) makes you blind.

To give a good effort and be better then ppl expect doesn't mean you won the fight. At no moment in the fight I had the feeling that Cotto was winning or could win. He gave a very good effort and fought smart. But you need to be a special fighter to beat Floyd - only having a good jab isn't enough.

very good points you made, I agree with you, Cotto at least tried to fight and lasted the whole 12 round trying to make it a fight. Floyd was just Floyd tonight and boxing very well like he always dose, so much props to Floyd.

I believe him. A professional boxer having a hand injury, how exactly is that hard to believe.

I don't really understand the weight situation, as it doesn't make sense that he would lose that sort of weight following the weigh in, unless he had the flue or something like that. He didn't seem to explain it.
